PDF-Power-Brand is a free PDF Branding software which was designed to work with PDF files created with Open Office writer, the Open Source alternative to Microsoft Office.
Open Office Writer is a fantastic and very newbie friendly word processing software application that allows you to quickly and easily create PDF files (with clickable links). Making your document a fully functional PDF file with open office is very easy, all you need to do is click the PDF button.
PDF Power Brand works by identifying and changing certain HHHtagsHHH which you have inserted into the document. Thus allowing the branding of parts of the PDF file.
For example… Lets say you write a short PDF report to promote a new software application that you are selling on ClickBank. You could use PDF Power Brand to create a “viral marketing tool” for your affiliate to use. By making a “brandable” version of your short report, you make it possible for affiliates to use your report to promote your product.
All you need to do is link to your site with something like…

Your affiliates would then be able to make the links to order within the PDF file, their affiliate link simply by opening the brandable file in PDF Power Brand and changing “clickbankid” to their ClickBank username

Why is it free?
There is a very clear reason why PDF Power Brand is free. It’s ad supported. Anyone branding a PDF file with PDF Power Brand will see ads when they use the software, and the PDF files that they make with the software will contain a link at the top of every page to say that the PDF file was made with PDF Power Brand. (This link contains the members affiliate link).
We have 2 upgrade options at PDF Power Brand.
Silver Membership – Silver members page a low one time fee to be able to remove the link in the PDF files that they make with PDF Power Brand.
Gold Membership – Gold members get to control the advertising space within the software and display their own ads to everyone who orders the software “because of them” (i.e. unlimited levels of referrals) AND they get to integrate their own autoresponder signup process silently into the signup form at PDF Power Brand so that everyone who joins PDF Power Brand “Because of them” can opt into join their list with one click. (I’ll talk more about this feature later… when you fully understand how it works, I think that you will want a GOLD membership).
We are also working on a system to help merchants who use PDF Power Brand to create affiliate marketing tools to leverage the list of affiliates registered at PDF Power Brand to promote their brandable PDF Files.
